This isekai is a good discovery. The premise is quite corny, so I was expecting an end of the barrel power fantasy. But the pacing is quite good, and the power fantasy aspect is quickly left behind. Instead, the story focuses on character development and lighthearted mood. This season is packed with high budget new animes and sequel, I’m surprised to await the next episode of UglyMug more than many other series.

For reference, I only watched up to episode 4. So far it’s been pretty much one episode one dive in a character’s backstory. I hope the anime will stay entertaining once the characters and their quirks are exposed.
