Dofus 3 Day 3: Clearing out level 50 dungeons
Published on the 5th December 2024.
Today we started upping runemagic jobs. I only did Joaillomage up to level40ish. While Seju was upping a whole lot of jobs and losing half a million kamas on trying to get a movement point (PM) to pass on a Gelano, I decided to start uping the hunter job. This job is a primary resource collection job. Contrary to all collection jobs, you don’t get any xp when collecting, but you do get some when crafting what you collected. If you have enough money, you can pretty much level it all up by the raw power of financial investment. However, this is a new server and doesn’t go all the way. I bought some of the resources needed to level up to level 10, and then started farming level10, then level 20 resources. The monsters for those are really weak so it was quite easy to farm. It just takes a lot of time for barely any gains. I didn’t have a proper companion (just a chacha I fed with trash items that would provide a bit of puissance). While farming for hunter, you need an hunting weapon. This meant I didn’t go with my full stuff when hunting, and it made things a bit slower.
By this time I was about level 50, 45 Jeweler and 20 hunter. With Seju fully in earth damage and force, we went and cleared out a few more dungeons. The scarafeuille dungeon went very well, no issues here, even if we couldn’t do it full challenge because of the boss and special dungeon monster tricks. Afterwards, full with confidence in our improved damage, we tackled the Craftsmen dungeon. The boss is a joke, and the extra vitality on all the items we enchanted was doing wonders and kept us alive without us being very careful. The Bwork dungeon was just a statcheck, it went okay. We decided to not try any challenge because we didn’t have the DPS needed to quickly get the ennemies down, and wanted to clear it once for experience and success points. The Forest Refuge was nothing much to talk about. We had a bit of trouble on the boss because of damage return that wasn’t noticed, but with enough patience it was done.
With all of these wins, we decided it was high time we went again against the Kwakwa. My healing turret was a great help in withstanding the damages from the 9 monsters in combination with Seju’s damage reduction and invulnerabilities. After a few turns, we managed to reduce the resistances of the Kwakwa significantly, but as soon as we killed his last summon, he ressumoned everything. It caught us off guard, and Seju got killed in a savage turn. somehow I was able to clutch the fight and get us the win by a hair. It was starting to get late and we already did a bunch of dungeons, so we decided to focus a bit on economy and handle the Corrailleur later.
