40meterP is an iconic producer of the vocaloid world. He started posting songs on Youtube since 2012. They use mostly the Miku and GUMI voicebanks. He also frequently cooperates with utaite to release human sung versions of his songs. To this day, he released about 110 vocaloid songs, most of which were originals. Out of those, 27 hit the top spot on the Weekly Vocaloid ranking. His most reknown originals are Love Trial, Karakuri Pierrot and Eye examination His songs are very varied, but most of them are rather cheery and high spirited. The quality of the lyrics and illustration is good and inspired a lot of artists to cover those songs or produce their own MV. I first discovered this artist with Love Trial. I personally don’t like the Miku voicebank that much, so I probably listened to way more covers of his songs from other artists than his actual songs. I arrived in the vocaloid community a bit after his prime, and mostly saw his handle in diverse places.
